The Zen Lens is a personal weekly practice using photography to help nourish our inner artist.

Hi, I’m so happy that you’re here. This corner of the Internet is a sacred space where we honor the process of creating art with the fullest and most vulnerable version of ourselves. It’s a bridge between pixels and a forest path where we can pause for a moment and take in the world around us.

Why subscribe?

Every Sunday morning you receive the week’s theme with a simple photography prompt that helps you look at the world with fresh eyes. Each assignment can take five minutes or the whole week, it all depends on how deep you’d like to go. This practice is meant to help you develop your creative vision by slowing down, looking more deeply, and making something directly from the heart.

This is for anyone who…

. . . feels like they’re in a creative rut
. . . wants to rediscover childlike wonder
. . . is looking to infuse more meaning into their work
. . . doesn’t think they’re creative (but would like to be)

How to get started

Sign up and grab a camera - any camera will do. You won’t have to worry about missing anything, every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. You can share as much of your work as you’d like or keep your practice completely private. This is meant to serve you and your growth as a creative in the most helpful way possible. And if you do find it valuable, share it with a friend who may also benefit from starting their own weekly creative practice.

Ok, let’s start the journey...
